Have you ever had one of those days where you just cannot pull your thoughts together? Well that was today for me. I ended up going into the studio more out of habit than anything else (good to know the habit is forming so well!) and started painting. This time I can honestly say it was more just pushing around paint than having any intention of making a daily painting. I don't know if it's the smell of the paint, the turpentine, or just the motion of moving the paintbrush on the canvas, but it's as if I can breathe again while I'm there. So here's the result of my art therapy . . . not surprising it has to do with the preparation of tea.
