Mid-Afternoon Tea - more studies in lighting

Afternoon tea comes around at about 3:30, as kids come in from school and snacktime begins.  While my children like milk and cookies, I have tea with mine.  While it's nice out the place to wind down from the day and unload is the screened porch.

While I was painting this, I noticed the much more intense gold color of the afternoon light, as well as the intensity in general.  Unfortunately, I didn't realize I would have half the time to complete the painting before the light changed significantly altering colors and shadows.  I managed to complete most of it before needing to stop and rest my eyes from glaring sun.
