Teacup and Honeyjar

And now for something completely different . . . .

Okay, it's not fruit.  The perspective's a bit strange.  But it's different and I still managed to paint it fairly well.  The different shades of white after a while were a bit frustrating, and I totally messed up the plate and its shadow (in terms of perspective) by applying too many brush strokes.  The honey jar, however, I love!  I did learn that I need a smaller brush for details; making different shades around the rim of the cup was next to impossible.  Yay!  Another excuse for an art store visit!  Definitely a painting to think about and possibly make better in the future!

I like the glass on that honey jar. Great work with whites.
